I'm so happy I've reached 300 followers I have decided to do a little giveaway to celebrate and to say thank you for reading!
What you could win: A hand drawn portrait of yourself or a loved one (like the self portrait I did above!) I did a portrait like this a while ago for lovely Adeline and you could win one too! I shall also throw in some other Christmassy goodies to go along with it. [How it works: You send me a photo which I then draw in ink and add colour digitally.]
To enter: Just leave a comment below saying what your favourite Christmas film is (it'll help me with ideas for a future film night I am planning!) Oh and you must be a follower to enter! This giveaway is now closed, time to pick the winner!
Once again thanks so much for reading!
Laura x
It has to be It's A Wonderful Life. It's a classic, and so beautiful!

ooh! I'd love to win Laura! Bit of a guilty pleasure this one, but my favourite Christmas film is Love Actually!
ReplyDeleteOoooh fun! Congratulations Laura! I actually went to the video store today to get out heaps of Christmas dvds! I got Home Alone, Polar Express, Nightmare Before Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life but really my favourite Christmas movie is Love Actually :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats for your 300 followers! We could be spartans! :P I love your giveaway, very original. My favourite christmas film is Nightmare before Christmas, hehe...
ReplyDeleteIt has to be The Snowman!
ReplyDeleteHello Laura! It's Home Alone for me :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 300 followers! :) Love that self portrait! My all time favourite is Santa Claus The Movie!
ReplyDeletejingle all the way. <3 loveit.
ReplyDeletecongrats on 300 followers! go you! :D
My favourite Christmas film is 'Meet Me in St Louis' - just so much fun and colourful escape. I often watch 'Little Women' at Christmas too, a favourite book of mine and the adaptation with Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder and Christian Bale is pretty heartwarming during the festive season! :-)

What a sweet giveaway. So hard to choose a favourite Christmas film... for new ones Elf and Love Actually are firm favs, but then something like Gremlins always hits the spot if I'm craving 80s. Or Home Alone of course!
ReplyDeletep.s. Like the new blog look.
Congratulations on 300 followers! You deserve it. Your self portrait is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas film has been "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" since I was a child, and it's still my dad's favorite, too! I love the misfit toys.
Hard to choose but Elf or Bad Santa hilarious :)
ReplyDeleteNightmare Before Christmas - I love Tim Burton.
ReplyDeleteKudos on 300 followers! <3
I'd love to win a portrait! That's an awesome prize Laura. I think Hook is one of my favourite 'Christmas' movies - perhaps not the most obvious of choices, but it always leaves me with a warm feeling in my belly, and it's a classic family movie too that even my Dad enjoys :) xx
ReplyDeletedoes the nightmare before christmas count? :D
ReplyDeleteAh, brilliant giveaway :) I love Love Actually, despite not being a big Richard Curtis fan. It has all the required components: funny bits, heartbreaking bits, unrealistically attractive people, and, obviously: snow.
ReplyDeleteHome alone is my favourite, but National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation comes a close second!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Laura! My favorite Christmas movie is "The nightmare before Christmas".
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would also be... Home Alone! ♥
ReplyDeleteNational Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! If you haven't seen it, you must, it is 80's slap stick at it's very best!! I won't say too much as not to ruin it if you haven't seen it, but the Christmas tree fiasco is so funny, I'll just say it is slightly too big...last year at our house we had to cut the top AND bottom off the tree as we had a slight miscalculation of our own! I always watch it on Christmas Eve, it's usually on tv over Christmas but i reccommend dvd as they cut out all the funniest (rudest!) bits for telly!
ReplyDeleteI love watching Elf every year! White Christmas is one of my favorite classics.
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, just one film? I would say...
ReplyDeleteMuppets christmas carol, because I always watch it first.
But I love Elf, Santa claus is coming to town (the stop motion anitmation), its a wonderful life, white christmas, home alone 1 and 2, scrooged too. I just love christmas films, it has to be said.
p.s. amazing giveaway and a much deserved congratulations for your followers, I'm not suprised at all, you have a great blog!
not sure if edward scissorhands counts, but if not, i'd have to go with home alone. i can watch that movie a million times and never get sick of it.
ReplyDeleteMy old fave is A Muppet Christmas Carol
ReplyDeleteMy new fave is The Polar Express
Also, it's not a movie, but is must see for me: A Disney Christmas Gift. It's a collection of short cartoons featuring different Disney characters. My favorite is the one where Chip and Dale are hiding in Mickey's Christmas tree but only Pluto can see them. It's fantastic!
