I enjoyed this adaptation of JM Barrie's life, and the story of how he found his inspiration to write Peter Pan after meeting a family of 4 young boys whose mother is suffering from illness.

[After watching the film we did a quick google and found the actual Barrie, below, has a very impressive moustache that Johnny Depp's portrayal omitted, I wonder why!]
Been a while since I've seen this but remember thinking it was lovely, and very touching!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the best movies at the time of the release. I adored it so much. Pure blissful to watch. The characters were played so well by both Johnny and Kate. Great film indeed.
ReplyDeletei agree. I’d forgotten about this film. must watch it again soon. I can’t believe they left out the moustache though....it was a whopper! Such a prominent detail to leave out. Have a lovely weekend. I might make brownies (Jamie’s are very good too...my husband made them recently). :)
ReplyDeleteI love this movie! It would have been better with the moustache though. My google followers gadget seems to keep disappearing and then reappearing, not sure why either! x
ReplyDeleteOh man, I was looking for this movie like crazy and just last week I got it on netflix. Haven't sat down to see it yet, but cant wait. : )
ReplyDeleteI loved this film but it made me cry so much at the end...
