Following on from the last post, I spotted this lovely bunting inspired fabric curtains and bedding, which is now available at Ikea! via Design is Mine. (Why is the kids' section always the best?)

Tiny Paper Bunting

I kept seeing these little paper bunting strings about and was finally inspired to make my own after seeing them on Darling Darling. Best 10 minute craft project ever! (In the mirror is some real bunting & some polaroids on my wall.)

Bust Summer Craftacular : London

I really enjoyed the Summer Craftacular! There were lots of lovely handmade items on sale, I bought a pretty necklace from here and enjoyed the tea and cake on offer at the Pop-Up Tea Shoppe. I recognised a lot of the items from different online shops I've visited too, like Eclectic Eccentricity, where my friend bought the necklace below. (Ah, looking at the site makes me want to buy more, nooo!)

Also there were Tatty Devine, (ooh, 50% sale on their website) Lady Luck Rules Ok (where I bought a cheap wooden necklace in the "damaged items" basket, which didn't appear to be damaged! See below - mine just says Bonjour!)

I also loved looking at Gemma Correll's stall, her stuff is so cute and funny! (See below)

Alice in Waterland

How beautiful are these underwater Alice in Wonderland photos by Elena Kalis. First seen on Milk.

Polaroid Heaven

Could it be true that polaroids will resume manufacture in early 2010? I read here that production of the extinct films will resume next year, as the Impossible Project are making good progress and are being supported by Urban Outfitters. Yay. I have a line of polaroids round my room but maybe someday it will fill up a whole wall..

Summer Craftacular

This Saturday I am heading to this:

It is held in Bethnal Green in London.. I shall take some pictures and report back!

We Make Words

I came across this blog the other day and thought I'd share it. Amy & Luci make words out of objects and then photograph them, it's that simple! I used to do similar photos as a kid, arranging objects into letters.

New polaroids!

I only have 7 pictures left on my last ever polaroid film... I'd better use them wisely eh? Here are some I took recently. (Some of the discoloured ones were taken using a film that Boots sold me that was actually 2 years out of date!)

Customised Bikes!

Now Urban Outfitters have branched out into selling customised bikes in the US. I like how you can choose your own pretty colour combination!

Polaroid Love

Stumbled across these brilliant polaroid montages via the lovely Daydream Lily. They are inspired by David Hockney's composite polaroids, and made by Columbian photographer Juan Felipe Rubio, see more on his flickr here. Makes me wish even more that I had an endless supply of Polaroid film to experiment with.. ah.
